    1. The war was generally accepted on September 1st, 1939
    2. Adolf Hitler and his followers (Nazis) signed strategie treaties with Italy and Japan to further his "world domination."
    3. This war destroyed more land, property then any war before this and also had one of the highest total deaths in war history.

    2.At the time of Pearl Harbor, the top US Navy command was called CINCUS (pronounced “sink us”), the shoulder patch of the US Army’s 45th Infantry division was the Swastika, and Hitler’s private train was named “Amerika”. All three were soon changed for PR purposes.

  44. 1.Between 3 and 3.5 million Russian prisoners of war were worked and starved to Death by the Germans. They were not treated to "Hogan's Heroes" types prisons.
    2.German Me-264 bombers were capable of bombing New York City, but it wasn’t worth the effort.
    3.When the US Army landed in North Africa, among the equipment brought ashore was 3 complete Coca Cola bottling plants.
    4.Most members of the Waffen SS were not German. The only nation that Germany declared war on was the USA.
    5.The Soviet Army fought 85 percent of the Nazi forces and the Germans were on the run virtually defeaterd before the western allies finally decided to start a second front, after millions were dead.

    1.The war in Europe ended with the capture of Berlin by Soviet troops and subsequent German surrender on 8th of May 1945.
    2.The start of the war was on the 1st of September 1939, beginning with the German invasion of Poland.
    3.60 million people died in the war, including about 20 million soldiers and 40 million civilians.

    1. In the first year of war, 1939, Germany had conquered Poland, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, and France.

    2. By 1941, WWII had become a worldly conflict. Wars broke out in Africa, Europe, and Asia.

    3. After the war, over 12 million people were displaced. The Allies established a program called United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration to help relocated displaced people.
